Name your top three pet peeves.
- Coworkers who are passive-aggressive in their “joking”. It is hard to read something that looks like a barb, but Teams does not have a sarcasm or jokester font.
- People who do not keep their word, their promises or commitments.
- People in parking lots who believe they are medical doctors and sheriffs and because this belief, demand to know why people park in the handicap spots. This weekend at Target, a young woman was being read the riot act by an octogenarian who demanded to know why she was parked there. The young woman didn’t engage her. She instead, opened the door and lowered a lift walked to the middle of the crosswalk while 2 children walked behind a wheelchair with another child. Mom was stopping traffic for her kiddos. Once everyone was safely buckled in and doors were shut, only then did she acknowledge the woman, and asked to please move from behind the vehicle. That Mom was my hero that day!
