A Cozy Day, Soft Rain, & A Good Book

This sounds like the start of a really good day for me. No obligations, no household chores, no errands. Just me and a book, and a cozy blanket. Perfection!

My love of books and reading comes from my mother. An author, former librarian, story time lady at the public library, and lover of the written word herself. She always used to try and gently remind my sister and I (before the yelling started) “Books are our friends. Books take you on adventures and places you may never get to see. Treat them kindly, we don’t put our friends on the floor and walk on them,” it was about then she would lose patients and yell “Pick up those books and put them neatly on the shelf NOW!” The books got picked up very quickly.

In my “virtual bookstore” Susan’s Views, you will find a variety of titles and genres. Some collectible, some fun, some interesting, some signed, some of them could be a title you have been searching fore and more added every day.

See ya ‘round the bookshelves!

About Me

My name is Susan and I turned 59 this week. I was not thrilled about this age or the one that would be coming up next. One celebratory post on social media that included a link, inspired me to try 60 new things or experiences before I turn 60 in 2025. Join me on this journey as I view these adventures through a dirty windshield.

Susan is a mom of 2, grandmother of 1 and owned by 1 dog. Currently living in the Denver, Colorado metro area.
